Asylum Hosting Over 95 Events at the Hollywood Fringe
Theater Asylum is thrilled to be hosting over 95 different shows, workshops and special events in six different venues for the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Throughout June, the six venues will feature local, national and international, ensembles, solo artists, musicians, magicians and immersive artists. Come be a part of the eighth and largest Hollywood Fringe to date at one of the Asylum venues.
We get off with a bang, starting on June 1st, Asylum will host a bi-venue event at Stephanie Feury (5636 Melrose) and at The Underground (1312 N. Wilton). We are celebrating the addition of the Immersive Category for the HFF and since Fringe Central isn't open until June 7th, Asylum is offering a place for everyone to get together and have some immersive performances. Asylum has an amazing lineup of shows this year. We are especially excited to be hosting so many wonderful out of town, (Inter)National shows. There will be groups form the following cities: NYC, Philadelphia, Miami, and the Bay Area. From abroad, we have groups from France, Italy, Australia, UK and Turkey. For the second year, Asylum has partnered up with the San Diego Fringe Festival to bring in three shows, Alfie (UK) Lifegate (Italy), There's No Place Like (UK) which will also perform in San Diego and at the Tijuana Fringe.
Workshops/Panels - Asylum has several workshops/panels schedule, with more being planned. Check out workshops by seasoned veterans, about taking your Fringe show through North America & Canada, Edinburgh and Hollywood. Panels are being planned and scheduled for Immersive Theater, Diversity and Press.
We're planning several Mixers - Throughout the month of June look for Solo shows, Unity and (Inter)National Shows and more, all at the Underground - Downtown (1312 Melrose Ave.). And look for POP UP Shows- Check out our twitter feed @theaterasylum.com, Facebook and our website www.theaterasylum.com for new events. POP UP Shows are those fan favorites that have sold out their run and added a show last minute.
