January Flamenco Dinner Theater at El Cid, the Los Angeles landmark that's an authentically replicated 16th century Spanish Tavern presenting world-class flamenco for over 50 years. The iconic El Cid flamenco shows are a must-see filled with dynamic rhythms from internationally and locally recognized artists performing the classic style of pure flamenco dance and live music in an environment reminiscent of its Spanish Andalusian heritage.

Flamenco is pure art created spontaneously on stage, and this powerhouse trio does it with style! Ben Woods is an international recording artist, having recently licensed two original Flamenco guitar albums to Costco in the US and Canada.

Juan Talavera, the critically acclaimed and noted flamenco dancer, choreographer, instructor, company director, actor, and one of the original owners of El Cid, will be joined by dancers Daniel Andres, Claudia de la Cruz, Emilio Dominguez, Rosal Ortega; singer Antonio de Jerez; guitarist Andres Vadin; percussionist Gerardo Morales; and special guest artist Oscar Valero, internationally known flamenco dancer and choreographer direct from Spain.

Featuring Juan Talavera, the critically acclaimed and noted flamenco dancer, choreographer, instructor, company director, actor and one of the original owners of El Cid; Bailaors (Dancers): Daniel Andres, Claudia de la Cruz, Emilio Dominguez, Rosal Ortega; Cantaor (Singer): Antonio de Jerez; Guittara (Guitar): Andres Vadin; Percussion: Gerardo Morales; Special Guest Artist: Oscar Valero - Internationally renowned flamenco dancer/choreographer direct from Spain

Noche en Triana features Antonio Triana and special guests. The cuadro flamenco forms on stage against a backdrop of drumming handclaps, a voice moans the cante jondo, that pure essence of Andalusian song. Dancers strike the tablao with thundering footwork. Tension mounts as the performers unleash their fiery improvisations to the compelling rhythms of the guitar. This is the native art of Triana, where flamenco has a long tradition, where rhythm is life.

$15 for shows only (*$20 for Flamenco Bravo on 1/19); tickets should be purchased online in advance to guarantee seating. Tickets include the show only; Food and drink are a la carte and there is never a minimum. New $30 three-course pre-fixe dinner menu changes weekly which includes soup and salad, and an entrée selection which could range from Top Sirloin Steak with El Cid's Signature Chimichurri to Paella Valenciana. In addition, there's a plentiful tapas menu and an extensive list of seasonal artisanal cocktails. Doors open one hour prior to performance time.
