Aaron Jacobs’ Spotlight Cabaret Presents 'Back to Basics' 6/11
Culminating Spotlight Cabaret's phenomenal 1.5 year residency at Café Metropol, Aaron Jacob's monthly showcase returns to Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, June 11, 2011 to celebrate the joy of the original cabaret style.
Producing cabaret since 2008, Aaron Jacobs' continues to promote 10-12 of Los Angeles' brightest talents monthly. Accompanied by the Spotlight Trio, led by Musical Director David Olivas, the piano, bass and sax trio brings a big time jazz feeling to this small intimate space in the heart of the Artists District.
Aaron Jacobs' strives to bring quality entertainment to mainstream society, whether hosting big name singers or his favorite hidden gems. Notables who make up the Spotlight Family include Judy Norton (the Waltons), Linda Kerns (Wicked, Titanic), Eddy Rioseco (Wicked, Parenthood), Robin Abernathy (Former Rayette) and Daisy Eagan (Tony Award Winner for "The Secret Garden"). June's show will include host and singer AARON JACOBS as well as performances by: Ali Mandelbaum (The Cradle Will Rock; Aliza), Eddy Rioseco (Wicked, Parenthood), Isa Briones (Takers), J. Karen Thomas (Criminal Minds), Jon Jon Briones (Miss Saigon), Jonas Sills (Chess), Judy Mora, Megan Johnson Briones (Miss Saigon), Taryn Rioseco (Producer: Ring of Fire, 9 to 5) and SPECIAL GUESTS Judy Norton (The Waltons) and Linda Kerns (Wicked, Titanic the Movie); accompanied by the Spotlight Trio led by Saxophonist and Musical Director David Olivas.
