AND SHE BAKES, LIVE Opens 6/8 at Elephant Studio

MD Productions presents Daliya Karnofsky as "The Bakeress" in the West-Coast Premiere of And She Bakes, LIVE. Last seen at NYC's Dixon Place Theatre, this one-woman creation is salty, sweet, and delicious. June 13 at 8:30PM, June 20 at 7PM, June 28 at 2:30PM, with a preview June 8 at 4PM. All shows will be at The Elephant Studio at Theatre Asylum.

"And She Bakes" is typically a voyeuristic YouTube baking show shot in The Bakeress's kitchen, which she then edits to make herself look as adorable as possible. "And She Bakes, LIVE" is quite the opposite. Here the audience is in the kitchen, and the Bakeress is unedited. She answers love and life questions from her fans while throwing together an amazing concoction and pouring herself into raucous dance parties. The audience is fed, all life questions are answered, and for once we see the truth behind the peanut butter. All while wearing high heels, and keeping it vegan and gluten-free. Throw in a tutu-d blender to seamlessly fuse together comfort and joy. So scrumptious.
