ABBA MANIA Comes to the El Portal Theatre MainStage, 2/27-3/1
3,000 Off Broadway Musicals and City Connection Entertainment proudly present ABBA MANIA, a special concert presentation, which celebrates the music and style of Abba at the historic El Portal Mainstage Theatre, in the NOHO Arts District, North Hollywood, CA. This special four-performance engagement will be presented February 27, 28 and March 1, 2015.
ABBA MANIA has been delighting audiences of all ages since it's formation in 1999, selling out UK theatres nationally. At the Strand Theatre in London, they re-created the Abba phenomenon for fans from all over the world. ABBA MANIA is a modern day phenomenon, it is a respectful and exhilarating recreation of ABBA's last live concert featuring seven performers and musicians, this show brings back to life the very best of the unique Swedish group.
ABBA MANIA have been performing together for nearly 10 years and in that time have played a 6 month season in London's west end, toured extensively throughout Europe and Scandinavia selling out many of the largest arenas and concert theatres including the Palais des Sport, Paris, Deutsches Theater, Munich, Playhouse Theatre, Edinburgh, Empire Theatre, Liverpool and many many more. Their annual August concert in Waldbuhne Berlin attracts over 20,000 people... During their 6-week season in Munich they won Germany's coveted Best Musical Award. Featuring a special concert presentation, which celebrates the music and style of Abba in a respectful and enjoyable way, ABBA MANIA revives special memories of when 'Abba' ruled the airwaves. Their songs are timeless and will last forever.
