A CAROL CHANNING CHRISTMAS to Feature Channing, Eric Kunze & More

It's beginning to look A LOT like Christmas - even in the Southern California desert - as Tony Award Winning Stage and Screen legend Carol Channing brings a holiday extravaganza worthy of Radio City Music Hall to The Agua Caliente Resort and Casino in Rancho Mirage, California.

This 90-minute, high-energy song and dance production features Ms. Channing along with long-time friend, famed impersonator Rich Little. In addition to holiday songs, old and new, Ms. Channing will perform some of the songs she originated on the Broadway stage including Before The Parade Passes By, Hello Dolly and her own “Battle Hymn of the Republic”, Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend. She will also be joined by three of Broadway's shining stars - Tony-nominated Jonelle Allen (Two Gentlemen of Verona), Eric Kunze (Miss Saigon and Damn Yankees) and Nicole Parker (Wicked and star of Fox Television's MAD-TV).

A Carol Channing Christmas will introduce Carol Channing's American Glee Club, a talented group of young performers representing America's public schools, who will provide the “song and dance” element to the show in a myriad of fully-staged and costumed production numbers. The show will feature many of America's holiday favorites from White Christmas to Let It Snow along with dozens of surprises - including a surprise guest star “celebrity Santa Claus!” It will be an evening of non-stop laughs and toe-tapping excitement. The Carol Channing Christmas Show is part of the national campaign for The Dr. Carol Channing/Harry Kullijian Foundation For The Arts (www.ChanningARTS.org) whose mission is to restore the arts to America's public schools. Ms. Channing and her husband, Kullijian, have dedicated themselves to insuring an arts education for all children nationwide.
