Tickets Now On Sale for LITC's A CHRISTMAS CAROL
By: Tyler Peterson
After a sold-out run of its inaugural performance, The Pillowman, LITC returns with its holiday offering, an original streamlined adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Performances will be held at Bellmore Presbyterian Church, 2740 Martin Avenue, Bellmore, NY on December 19 and 20 at 8:00PM, and December 21 at 2:00PM.
LITC is a Nassau County-based not-for-profit theatre organization that believes the Long Island community deserves access to more original, provocative theatre-without having to ride the train into the City. The collective of actors, directors, technicians, and administrators includes Long Island natives who have honed their craft professionally in New York, Philadelphia, and more before coming home to Long Island. This original adaptation of A Christmas Carol is both nostalgic and surprising. Staged in the beautiful chapel of Bellmore Presbyterian Church, the story will be told in a focused, contemporary way. Tickets are $20 for the general public and $12 for audience members under 30. Purchases can be made online at www.litheatrecollective.com.
