Presale Tickets Available Now for Long Beach International Film Festival ImageThe summer heat and the Long Beach International Film Festival (LBIFF) are sneaking up! Festival organizers announced today that presale tickets are on sale for their 6th annual event which runs August 1-4 on Long Beach, New York's pristine beachfront and at local theaters and the glamorous Allegria Hotel. Get 'em while they're hot through longbeachfilm.com as these special rates are only available until July 1.

During its four-day run, the festival will feature an array of nightly special events in addition to screening an international slate of more than 40 films, including feature-length narratives, documentaries, as well as short and animated movies suitable for all ages. The annual event includes red carpet premieres, filmmaker receptions, compelling panel discussions, celebrity appearances, sophisticated culinary events, beach concerts, casino night and more!

VIP all-access passes are now available for $299 during presale, which offers access to all the action throughout the festival including the wildly popular culinary event Taste On The Beach, the Filmmakers Lounge, Priority Access to all film screenings and much more! After July 1, this all inclusive pass will be available for $399.

A harmony of arts and culture, the festival offers much more entertainment beyond film. A sell-out every year, Taste On The Beach (ugust 4) is a chic and delicious evening of sampling more than 40 of Long Island's premier restaurants, distilleries, wineries and spirits, right on the beach. Live entertainment and musical performances provide the soundtrack throughout the evening. Tickets for Taste On The Beach are available now for $75 during presale, and will be $125 after July 1.

As always, Shorts On The Beach Film Series (August 4) which exhibits short films from around the world in a custom built movie theatre on the beach is FREE. All attendees need is to reserve their tickets for Beach Theatre access! Shorts On The Beach begins directly following Taste on the Beach (tickets for Taste on the Beach will include access to Shorts on the Beach as well).

NEW and exciting events being introduced at this year's festival include Chefs & Shorts: A Pairing of Gastronomy & Film (August 2) and Casino Night in Long Beach (August 3). More details to be revealed in the coming weeks.

In addition, filmmakers still have time to submit feature-length narratives, documentaries, as well as short and animated movies through www.withoutabox.com and www.FilmFreeway.com until June 1 (regular deadline) and June 15 (extended deadline).

The Festival will host numerous opportunities to connect with enthusiastic new audiences, fellow filmmakers, film industry professionals, non-profit organizations and the media in the beautiful oceanside locale of Long Beach, New York. The LBIFF is committed to providing an outstanding experience for our filmmakers, chefs, musicians and audiences.

The LBIFF premiered in 2012 with just 50 submissions and showcased 12 films with free screenings on the beach. After Hurricane Sandy hit in 2012, the LBIFF had just finished its inaugural year and was threatened to collapse before ever fully taking off. Aided by a $20,000 grant from Nassau County, and participation from local celebrity stars like Daniel Baldwin and resilient festival organizers. LBIFF acknowledges and thanks the many Festival Sponsors who demonstrate their commitment to aspiring filmmakers and the local arts community through their financial support. Their contributions not only enhance the annual event, but ensure LBIFF can continue to administer its various charitable and educational initiatives throughout the year.
