Live Theater Comes to Cinema Arts Centre with AN ACT OF LOVE

This intimate live performance depicts the heart wrenching story of Long Island actors Ed and Sue Anne Dennehy (Brian Dennehy's brother and sister in law). From meeting on West Side Story, to their death on the very same day, those close to them knew that their lives, and now their deaths, were the stuff of great drama
Acts of Love tells their story in the form of a play that traced their lives through the various roles they played. Beginning with their meeting, in a production of West Side Story, and ending with their almost simultaneous deaths, themes of Romeo and Juliet provide an effective motif for this modern day tragedy. Stars Carolyn Popadin as Sue Anne Dennehy, Paul Wallace as Ed Dennehy, Austin Morgan as Joseph Beck, and Michael Shanahanas Brian Dennehy. Directed by David Dubin and written by Joseph Beck. Approx. 90 min with 10 min intermission.
