Grateful Dead Tribute Event WHAT A LONG STRANGE TRIP Set for Bay Street Theater Tonight

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce What A Long Strange Trip, a two-night Grateful Dead tribute concert event tonight, March 4 and tomorrow, March 5 at 8 pm. Join us for one or both evenings and don't miss a thing! Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 day of and available online at www.baystreet.org or by calling the Bay Street Theater Box Office at 631-725-9500, open Tuesday through Saturday 11 am to 5 pm. Each night is sold separately.

The weekend will include two unique performances. Each night will highlight songs from The Grateful Dead's expansive portfolio of hits, navigating through the iconic band's 50+ year career. Formed in 1965, The Grateful Dead toured and recorded regularly through 1995, creating a new culture of music lovers along the way with hits such as Casey Jones, Stella Blue, Scarlett Begonias, Ripple and much, much more.

The lineup, put together by Joe Lauro, will consist of some of the area's most dedicated players, including members of Loki, one of the first ever Grateful Dead cover bands; the original Moondogs; Unbroken Chain and the Dead Music All-Stars, and will go as follows:

Bob Grado (pedal steel and mandolin)
Paul Graviano (guitar and vocals)
Mick Hargreaves (harp and vocals)
Joe Lauro (bass and vocals)
Michael Schiano (guitar and vocals)
Lee Shonik (drums and percussion)
Howard Silverman (drums and vocals)
