Boogie Wonder Band Comes to Patchogue Theatre

Boogie Wonder Band brings traditional disco to a whole new level, loaded with violins, violas, cellos, trumpets, trombones, and more! With crazy costumes and amazing musicians,the band gets crowds into the music like few others can.

Made up of band members that go by names like Boogie Cindy, Jack Wrangler, Stardust, Cadillac Jones, Pistol Pete and Marky The Sax, fans can look forward to a 90-minute show jam packed with all of their favorite disco-era hits including "Celebration", "Disco Inferno", and "You Should Be Dancing."

The group, which formed in 1996, has also released one album of original songs, Fly (2001), and two cover albums, Kiss My Disco (2004) and Supercool (2010). Over the course of their 19-year career, Boogie Wonder Band has played for audiences in over 450 cities around the world.Their roof-raising show has allowed them the unique opportunity to work alongside many of the acts they've covered. They've had the privilege to share the stage with Kool & The Gang, Village People, Rick James, War, CHIC, KC & the Sunshine Band, Gloria Gaynor, Maxine Nightingale, The Trammps, Paul Shaffer, Pointer Sister, Styx, Foreigner and the who's who of funk and disco. On top of that, they have also performed for some of the largest companies in the world, such as McDonald's, IMB, General Electric, Walt Disney, Bombardier, Club Med, Cirque du Soleil and Emirates Airlines to name a few.
