Precipice Theatre presents the Pulitzer Prize winning Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet at The Studio Theatre located at 320 W 7th St, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201 from January 11 - 21, 2018, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:30pm. This scalding comedy took Broadway and London by storm. Here is Mamet at his very best, writing about small-time, cutthroat real estate salesmen trying to grind out a living by pushing plots of land on reluctant buyers, in a never-ending scramble for their share of the American dream.

"We will present Glengarry Glen Ross in the round," says director, Heather D. Norris, "which puts the audience right in the bull pen with these guys as they struggle for the upper hand in a battle for personal power. The star of this play, which has been called 'Death of a Salesman meets The Wolf of Wall Street' truly is Mamet's text, and stripping down the set and putting the audience up close and personal, makes it all the more powerful."

Members of Precipice Theatre describe their group as an "actor's co-op" founded in 2011 by veteran actors from Central Arkansas as well as actors from both coasts, many formally trained in theatre. "As an actor, you generally don't have any decision in the material you ultimately perform, and the prospect of having a voice in that respect was quite exciting," says Co-Founder, Heather Norris, "so we created our own theatre company to make that a reality."
