World-Renowned Artists Celebrates Tony Bennett's 90th Birthday at Keep Memory Alive Gala

By:

For the first time ever, Keep Memory Alive's 20th annual Power of Love gala will highlight artists from multiple mediums as an extensive array of painters, sculptors, and more join honoree and fellow artist, Tony Bennett, in celebration of his 90th birthday tonight, May 21 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

To support "Bendetto" on his milestone birthday, artists from multiple genres will attend the philanthropic event to raise funds and awareness for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. The artists will be recognized during a special presentation at the event narrated by Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Emmy nominee Minnie Driver.

Artists attending include: President and Founder of Cultural Counsel Adam Abdalla; Golden Lion Award-winning artist Marina Abramovi; American artist and glass sculptor Dale Chihuly; President and CEO of Chihuly Studio and Chihuly Workshop Leslie Jackson Chihuly; American pop and conceptualism artist Jonathan Horowitz; Governor's Award-winning artist and sculptor Jeff Koons; American post-conceptual artist Rob Pruitt; legendary New York artist Peter Tunney; and curator, creative director, and writer Neville Wakefield.

"Tony Bennett, Larry Ruvo, are you kidding me," said Tunney. "You had me at 'hello,' I'm in!"

In addition to attending the event, Tunney will donate a giant, original painting titled "The GOOD LIFE," and Chihuly will donate an incredible limited edition print, "Round About Red," to be auctioned during the fundraiser's highly-anticipated silent auction.

· Round About Red -- A two-color intaglio / lithograph framed in blond wood. Expressing a fusion of color and energy on paper, "Round About Red" reflects the acclaimed Float series Chihuly began in 1991. Contrasted against the red intaglio background, brilliant yellow dots speckle the center while multiple layers of black, orange and lime green define the perimeter of the single Float.

· The GOOD LIFE -- An original painting created by Tunney using all of Tony Bennett's albums covers from the 50s to the present in honor of his 90th birthday celebration. The painting comes with the vinyl albums and record player so the lucky collector may "listen to his painting," a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

In addition to incredible performances and an impressive list of artists, the exquisite night will boast remarkable wine, cocktails, and delectable cuisine prepared by a trio of celebrity chefs. Wolfgang Puck, an avid supporter of Keep Memory Alive since the gala's inception, will return once again to create a one-of-a-kind menu alongside notable chefs Mario Carbone and Nobu Matsuhisa, of Nobu Restaurants and Matsuhisa International.
