Too $hort was the first West Coast rapper to record three solo studio albums before making his major-label debut with Born to Mack, which sold more than 50,000 copies. The artist has produced five platinum albums throughout the course of his career and has contributed his lyrical talents to major motion picture films such as "Boyz in the Hood," "Menace II Society" and "Drumline."
