The Orleans and Gold Coast Celebrate Big Anniversaries this December

The Orleans Hotel and Casino and Gold Coast Hotel and Casino will both celebrate big anniversaries in December, with The Orleans celebrating 20 years and Gold Coast celebrating 30 years of serving the Las Vegas community.

"It's been an honor to serve the Las Vegas locals for so many years at The Orleans and Gold Coast," said Tony Taeubel, Senior Vice President and General Manager of The Orleans and Gold Coast. "We hope our customers and the community will join us in celebrating our big anniversaries this December."

Opened on Dec. 21, 1986, Gold Coast was the first Las Vegas locals casino located on the west side of the Las Vegas Valley. It was joined 10 years later by The Orleans, which opened just to the south on Tropicana Avenue on Dec. 28, 1996.

As the two properties reach their big milestones, many team members who helped open their doors remain a proud part of the team today - 25 team members at Gold Coast, and 125 team members at The Orleans.

Each property will host a public cake and champagne celebration hosted by Bill Boyd on Tuesday, Dec. 20, but the celebrations will run throughout the month of December with great gaming promotions, buffet and drink specials, and more from Dec. 2 - 24. The Orleans and Gold Coast will each be giving away $50,000 with 10 winners at each property every week, and the chance to win up to $10,000 at each drawing.

20th Anniversary Events at The Orleans include:

• $1 drink specials at all casino bars
• Two-for-one pricing at French Market Buffet
• Special edition 20th Anniversary logo merchandise giveaway
• $50,000 Anniversary Drawings held Fridays at 7:15 p.m. (Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23)
• Cake and champagne celebration with Bill Boyd and The Orleans 20-year team members on Dec. 20 at 1 p.m.

30th Anniversary Events at Gold Coast include:

• $1 drink specials at all casino bars
• Two-for-one pricing at Ports O' Call Buffet
• Special edition 30th Anniversary logo merchandise giveaway
• $50,000 Anniversary Drawings held Saturdays at 8:15 p.m. (Dec. 3, 10, 17 and 24)
• Cake and champagne celebration with Bill Boyd and Gold Coast 30-year team members on Dec. 20 at 3 p.m.
