The Mirage Welcomes Michael Waltrip, 3/5

By:

NASCAR's youngest multi-team owner Michael Waltrip will step out of his car and into Terry Fator Theatre at The Mirage to showcase his comedic personality in Michael Waltrip Comedy Garage Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5. Performing at 10 p.m. nightly as host of the show, the two-time Daytona 500 winner will be joined by comedians Henry Cho and Jon Reep. Waltrip will introduce each comedian as they proceed with a hilarious comedic routine. At the end of the show, Waltrip will join Cho and Reep onstage for a 30-minute Q&A panel with the audience.

Tickets priced at $49.99, $39.99 and $29.99 plus tax and service fees are now on sale.   To charge by phone call (800) 627-6667 or (702) 791-7111.  Tickets also are available for purchase online at www.mirage.com and www.ticketmaster.com.

Waltrip burst onto the racing scene in 1981 when he won the Mini-Modified division track championship at Kentucky Motor Speedway.  Since then, he has captured countless race wins including the Daytona 500 in 2001 and 2003 and developed his own three-car race team, Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR), which will start its fourth full year of NASCAR Sprint Cup competition in 2011.  In addition to his duties as driver and team owner, Waltrip hosts Showtime's "Inside NASCAR" and SPEED Network's "Fast Track to Fame."  He also works as a broadcast analyst for SPEED Network's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Actor and comedian Cho, a Korean-American who was born and raised in Tennessee, often refers to himself as "an Asian with a Southern accent."  In 2006, he released his first one-hour Comedy Central special, "Henry Cho:  What's That Clickin' Noise?" which was later released on both DVD and CD.  Cho recently inked a deal with ABC and Touchstone Pictures to write, produce and star in a sitcom centered around Korean-Americans living in the South.  His acting credits include "McHale's Navy" with Tom Arnold and David Alan Grier, the Farrelly Brothers' movie "Say It Isn't So" and "Material Girls" starring Hilary and Haylie Duff.

North Carolina native Reep is best-known as the season five winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."  He has appeared on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" as well as the 30-minute special "Comedy Central Presents Jon Reep."  Other film and television credits include the film "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay," ABC's "Rodney," TBS's "Pit Stop Comedy," NBC's "Late Friday" and CMT's "Comedy Club."
