"The Man in Black, A Tribute to Johnny Cash" will bring the genre-spanning songs of the iconic singer-songwriter to the Suncoast Showroom Feb. 20-21.
Starring Shawn Barker, "The Man in Black, A Tribute to Johnny Cash" celebrates one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and showcases the hits from Cash's 50-year career. With his influential bass-baritone voice, Cash won multiple Grammy Awards and produced more than 95 albums, including the chart-topping hits "I Walk The Line," "Ring of Fire," "Folsom Prison Blues" and "A Boy Named Sue." Barker began his musical career playing Elvis Presley in an all-Elvis tribute show. During one of his performances, he made a surprise appearance as Cash, and was later given his own tribute show called "The Man in Black, A Tribute to Johnny Cash." Since 2005, Barker has toured the United States, Australia and Canada singing and playing the harmonica and guitar for Cash fans around the world. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. each night.
