Disney's landmark musical event THE LION KING is pleased to welcome Aubrey Joseph as "Young Simba" and Diamond White as "Young Nala" to the company. Johnson and White made their Las Vegas debuts on Monday, October 19. Produced by Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions, THE LION KING is currently playing at Mandalay Bay Theatre.

Aubrey Omari Joseph, 10, is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He loves football, basketball and swimming and was also nominated as student of the month along with the most talented in school. THE LION KING in Las Vegas will be Joseph's theatrical debut.

Diamond White, 10, has appeared in commercials, sitcoms and movies. She enjoys playing the piano, dancing and volunteering her time to various charitable organizations. Other credits include The Color Purple.

About THE LION KING: Mandalay Bay's production of THE LION KING is staged with all of the same spectacular music, sets and costumes that have made it a worldwide phenomenon, reaching more than 50 million people in 11 countries. Mandalay Bay's production of THE LION KING is virtually identical to the other companies seen around the globe. For Las Vegas, Disney hand-selected an international cast of performers who have won acclaim in productions of THE LION KING across the globe, including Broadway, Taipei, South Africa, London, Los Angeles, Australia, Toronto, Shanghai, Paris and Holland. The show is performed Monday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday shows at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
