REO Speedwagon to Rock Orleans Showroom, 11/23-14
Legendary American rock'n'roll band REO Speedwagon brings their chart topping hits to The Orleans Showroom November 23 and 24.REO Speedwagon formed in the late 60s, and in 1971 the band released their self-titled debut album. Throughout the 70s they released nine albums, the most successful being 1978's "You Can Tune a Piano But You Can't Tuna Fish" that reached no. 29 on the Billboard chart and was certified platinum two-times.The band's hard work in the 70s paid off with the explosive success of the 1980 release of "Hi Infidelity" which included #1 hit "Keep On Loving You." In all, the album sold 22 million copies in the U.S. and 40 million worldwide, and was certified platinum nine times in the U.S. During the 80s, the band released three additional hit albums "Good Trouble," "Wheels Are Turnin'" and "Life As We Know It." Some of the band's most celebrated hits include "Keep the Fire Burnin'" and "Can't Fight This Feeling."
