Francis And Warwick Perform In 'Grand Divas' Concert At LV Hilton 5/21-23

By:

Two of history's most successful female recording artists -- Connie Francis and Dionne Warwick --Eric Floyd's GRAND DIVAS OF STAGE will perform together for the first time at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel & Casino May 21-23.

The two were brought together by acclaimed producer Eric Floyd of Goddess Empire Entertainment, who promises a show like no other. With a remarkable 175 Top 10 international hit singles and hundreds of millions of albums sold between them, exclaims Floyd, "This music is literally the soundtrack to the lives of a billion!"

Connie Francis is the best international selling female recording artists of all time, thanks to immortal hits like "Who's Sorry Now?," "Lipstick on Your Collar," "Everybody's Somebody's Fool," and "Where the Boys Are." Since making her recording debut in 1955, Miss Francis made countless concert and television appearances throughout the world. Certifiably unparalleled in sales in the 50's and 60's, she held court atop the pop, country and a/c charts, and always remained a top concert draw, while singing in 13 different languages.

Over her illustrious five-decade career, Dionne Warwick is a true musical legend, thanks to nearly sixty chart hits such as ""Walk On By," "I Say a Little Prayer," "Do You Know the Way to San José" and "I'll Never Fall in Love Again." As a performer, Miss Warwick, too, has entertained audiences on every continent. She received the first of her five Grammy Awards in 1968 for "Do You Know the Way to San Jose," becoming the first African-American female artist to win for Best Contemporary Female Vocal Performance.

The upcoming engagement will not be the first they met. The two New Jersey natives, miraculously born on the same day of December 12th (the same also as the late crooners Joe Williams & Frank Sinatra) were once rival junior high cheerleaders, whose one-time heated face-off resulted in a young Dionne shoving Connie into a school locker. Connie also cites that turning down song submissions from a young Burt Bacharach & Hal David, resulted in Dionne's 12 million selling debut album project with the song writing duo. Seemingly intertwined by Fate, time healed those wounds as each held deep respect for the other, and a mutual love for the impresario Floyd, who brought them together. With worldwide touring, weekly reality series & a TV special in the works, now is the chance to be a part of history!
