EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL to Headline LVL UP Expo at Henderson Convention Center, 2/16-17
The cast of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has been named as featured guests during the upcoming LVL UP Expo on Feb. 16 - 17.
LVL UP is an expo for gamers of all ages and includes a variety of tournaments, such as Black Ops II, Halo 4 and a Cosplay Ball. There will also be meet-and-greet opportunities and a panel discussion with members of the Evil Dead: The Musical cast. Doors to the Henderson Convention Center are open from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Feb. 16, with the Evil Dead panel discussion happening at 3 p.m. the same day. The expo also runs from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Feb. 17."There is a great amount of crossover between fans of Evil Dead and the world of gamers, making the LVL UP Expo a natural place for Ash to clash with the Deadites," said Sirc Michaels, producer of Evil Dead: The Musical. "We'll have members of our cast and those behind the scenes answering questions about what it takes to live in the world of Evil Dead and other zombie-related topics."
LVL UP EXPO is dedicated to gaining awareness of the diverse gaming communities and compiling them into one extravaganza. LVL UP EXPO will provide the public with an innovative insight on past, recent, and future gaming; everything from table-top and arcade gaming to conventional, indie, and old school gaming.
Evil Dead: The Musical is a unique production that combines multimedia, live performance, audience participation and 4D elements to take audience members into its world. From undead ushers to blood spraying out into the audience, this musical comedy is bringing a new type of entertainment to the Vegas Strip, and the people behind it are determined to make a lasting impression. Performances can be seen at the V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino every Friday at 10 p.m. and Saturday at 11:30 p.m.
