Drai's Las Vegas Donates Over 500 Service Hours, $25K in School Supplies, 480 Meals & More During 1st Year of 'Drai's Cares' Program

Proving that there's more to the day and nightlife industry than champagne showers and VIP tables, Drai's Las Vegas at The Cromwell has wrapped the inaugural year of its first-ever community giveback program, Drai's Cares, with a patron-driven, nine-night toy drive benefitting the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Foundation's Shop With a Cop program.

Throughout the year, the industry leader has also partnered with several local organizations which provide much-needed services and opportunities to underserved populations of the Las Vegas community, including the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, North Las Vegas' Arturo Cambeiro Elementary School, The Shade Tree of Las Vegas, and also benefitted the Las Vegas Victims' Fund.

"Our goal for creating Drai's Cares was to provide assistance and impactful service to the underserved in our community who need us most," shared Dustin Drai, director of marketing at Drai's Las Vegas. "The Las Vegas community has been pivotal in the success of Drai's over the last 20 years, and this is just a small way for us to give thanks and show that Drai's cares."

Drai's Cares 2017 by the Numbers:

· 650: Backpacks filled with school supplies donated to Arturo Cambeiro Elementary students

· 120: Toiletry kits and packaged meals distributed at NPHY's Everything Project event

· 5000: Pieces of candy distributed at LVMD's Trunk or Treat Halloween Event

· 180: Thanksgiving meals served at The Shade Tree of Las Vegas

· 400: Number of chicken tenders served at the Boys & Girls Clubs of S. Nevada rooftop summer bash

· $500: Worth of new toys donated by Drai's patrons for LVMPD's Shop With a Cop program

Since launching the program in June, Drai's has made substantial contributions in the form of needed supplies, manpower, and time to the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth at their teen drop-in center and donation distribution events in high-poverty areas; hosted a rooftop pool party for more than one hundred youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, complete with a cotton candy bar, BBQ buffet, dance-off and more; provided and distributed backpacks and school supplies for the 600+ student population at Arturo Cambeiro Elementary School, a Title One school in North Las Vegas; cooked and served the Thanksgiving meal at The Shade Tree of Las Vegas, a shelter for women, children and their pets who are victims of domestic abuse and crisis; contributed one night's entire proceeds to the Las Vegas Victims' Fund, a crowdfunded resource for the victims and families of the Oct. 1 tragedy; donated and assisted in handing out candy at LVMPD's Trunk or Treat Halloween event, and most recently engaged club patrons in a nine-night toy drive benefiting the LVMPD Foundation's Shop With a Cop program, which allows children of low-income households to select holiday presents for themselves and their family members.

In the new year, Drai's looks to continue its current partnerships while expanding its efforts to bring even more services and resources to organizations which assist those in need throughout the community. For more information, visit DraisGroup.com.
