Don Barnhart Finds a New Home - DOWN AND DIRTY AT THE D, Las Vegas

From the top Comedy Clubs, cruise lines and colleges to the front lines in Afghanistan comedian Don Barnhart seems to have done it all and now he's bringing his hysterically funny stand up comedy show to Las Vegas nightly at Jokesters Comedy Club inside The D Casino Hotel on Fremont St.

Barnhart's stand up has been described as"a thrill ride of well-written, topical material exploring modern day society in a way that is hysterical, intelligent and thought provoking keeping audiences howling with laughter and coming back for more". With close to 1 million views on YouTube, The Las Vegas Review Journal recently called Don Barnhart's show one of their "Best Bets".

Since 1992, Don Barnhart has been performing and producing comedy shows for the troops around the world. His Battle Comics just completed their 3rd overseas tour this year for Armed Forces Entertainment with stops in Afghanistan, Kosovo, Europe and The Mediterranean.

Down and Dirty is the theme at Jokesters Comedy Club but it's more "naughty than nasty", said Barnhart. "We're doing a show that doesn't hold back but the first rule is that it's got to be funny!" And funny he is, Barnhart recently won the Levity Entertainment Comedy Award and was the Grand Prize Winner in the American Idol Underground's Comedy Competition.

Barnhart stars in the new sitcom Class Clowns along with the comedy documentary Finding The Funny with Brad Garrett and Louie Anderson. He has been seen on MTV, Comedy Central, NBC, and FOX. Don is a Bob and Tom Show favorite and can be heard regularly on Sirius/XM.

Don Barnhart's Comedy Show at Jokesters will feature guest sets by some of the funniest up and coming professional comedians working today including Linda Vu. Linda's unique perspective as an Asian American who immigrated to the United States is hysterically insightful and downright funny.

Although a relative newcomer on the comedy scene, Linda Vu has risen quickly with her clever, insightful and uniquely funny material avoiding the easy go-to Asian stereotypes that so many other comics rely on. Vu recently completed her third tour for the troops overseas and co-stars alongside Barnhart in Class Clowns and is the star of the indie film China Dolls.

Although Don Barnhart has notoriously performed clean, he's letting loose and pulling no punches in "Down & Dirty at The D". He added, "I've always felt that dirty comics aren't always funny but funny comics can be dirty. To me, dirty jokes are like jalapeños. Most people don't mind two or three but nobody wants a jalapeño milkshake."

Opening the show is either stand up comedIan Keith Lyle or musical comedian Mario Zapata. Lyle is most known for his snarky card dealer role in The Hangover also stars with Barnhart and Vu in Class Clowns and he has toured regularly with Barnhart on the Battle Comics World Tours and clubs across the country.
