Comedian Don Barnhart Raises The Bar On Las Vegas Laughter

Not one to rest on his laurels, Las Vegas resident comedian Don Barnhart continues to perform, produce and direct comedy projects opening up more opportunities for comedians.

When he's not on tour entertaining the troops or headlining the top comedy clubs, cruise ships and fairs across the country, standup comedian Don Barnhart is the resident headliner at Jokesters Comedy Club inside The D Casino Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas.

Barnhart performs nightly at 10:30pm at The D's showroom overlooking The Fremont Street Experience. His show has been called one of The Las Vegas Review Journal's "Best Bet" and Donsstand up comedy show has been called "fresh, funny and intelligent and Don brings social awareness to light with thought provoking insights that are as hysterical as they are poignant." Audiences' have said "Barnhart has the wit of a modern day George Carlin with the animated delivery of Robin Williams".

The comedian, best known for his "De-Evolution of Man Tour" is also a producer, director and filmmaker. Don is the director, producer and one of the comedians in the new standup series Jokesters TV airing Friday Nights on the CW Las Vegas repeated on Amazon Prime and the Jokesters TV YouTube channel. Shot live at Jokesters Comedy Club inside The D Casino Hotel on Fremont Street, the show features comedy clips from many of the comedians performing nightly at Jokesters as well as national headliners and some of the best local talent that Las Vegas has to offer.

Barnhart is the author of the new book, Rock Bottom. The fictional story of returning Veteran Guy Derek who loses everything becoming the Robin Hood of the homeless and finds his way back through comedy. The story is loosely based on Barnhart's own life experiences as a road comic and his many years of entertaining the troops overseas and inspired by the numerous stories of hardships our returning veterans face on a daily basis. He is also the author of Finding Your Funny, Creating The Life You Desire and a contributing author on I Killed: True Stories of the Road from America's Top Comics.

Since 1992, Barnhart has performed and produced comedy shows for the troops stationed around the world with USO, Armed Forces Entertainment and Comics On Duty. Don Barnhart then founded Battle Comics in order to keep entertaining the troops with even more comedy shows and is the inspiration and one of the stars in Jordan Brady's documentary, I Am Battle Comic about the importance of entertaining the troops serving in a war zone. The movie also features Dave Attell and George Lopez. Don also stars in Finding The Funny with Brad Garret and Louie Anderson and has been seen on MTV, Comedy Central, NBC, and FOX. He is a Bob and Tom Show favorite and can be heard regularly on Sirius/XM.

Don Barnhart is also a certified hypnotist, keynote and motivational speaker and teaches standup, improv and comedy writing at The Las Vegas Comedy Institute when he's not on tour. Other projects of Barnhart's include, The Freedom of Speech Comedy Series, China Dolls and Reefer Rendum.

The D Casino Showroom is the home for many of Ivory Star Productions other shows including Marriage Can Be Murder, Defending The Caveman, Comedy Magician Adam London's Laughternoon as well as Jokesters Comedy Club.

Jokesters Comedy Club opens their doors at 10pm and seating is on a first come first served basis although VIP seating is available. Tickets begin at $29.95
