The show celebrates one of country music's most influential musicians, performing the hits that brought Denver to the forefront of country music in the 1970's. Widely regarded as a beloved entertainer in his era, Denver burst onto the scene with the 1971 smash hit "Take Me Home, Country Roads," which peaked at #2 on the Billboard charts. He went on to enjoy enormous success throughout the decade, recording the #1 hits "Annie's Song," "Sunshine On My Shoulders," "Thank God I'm a Country Boy," "Back Home Again," "I'm Sorry," and many more. "Chris Collins & Boulder Canyon: A Tribute to John Denver" personifies the late Denver from his sounds to his look.
