Nevada Public Radio listeners and members have the rare chance to support public radio while celebrating The Beatles legendary music with "Sgt. Pepper Live" featuring Cheap Trick at Paris Las Vegas on August 18.

A Bill Edwards Presents Inc. production, "Sgt. Pepper Live" featuring Cheap Trick is a dazzling musical experience and live interpretation of one of the most beloved rock albums in history, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - which was never performed in its entirety by The Beatles themselves due to the complex studio technology required. In this production, "Sgt. Pepper Live" allows Cheap Trick to incorporate their brand of power pop into the classic songs while paying tribute to music legends in an unforgettable orchestration of captivating light and sound. Throughout the performance, Cheap Trick will also be performing many of its most covered songs such as "I Want You to Want Me," "Surrender" and "The Flame."

A limited number of tickets for the August 18 performances at 8 p.m. will benefit and must be purchased through Nevada Public Radio.

Current Nevada Public Radio members and listeners may purchase up to eight tickets at the special price of $100 for seating in the front orchestra or center section, $75 for seating in the side sections of the front orchestra or within the first seven rows of the rear orchestra and $40 for seating in the last five rows of the rear orchestra. The special pricing equates to saving of 20 to 25 percent off regularly priced tickets. Tickets must be picked up at the will-call and may not be resold. To purchase tickets, visit www.knpr.org, www.classical897.org or call (702) 258-9895 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.

All proceeds benefit Nevada Public Radio. Sponsors include Paris Las Vegas, Bill Edwards Presents Inc. and Nevada Public Radio News 88.9 KNPR and Classical 89.7.
