Britney Spears Inks 2-Year Deal to Perform at Vegas' Planet Hollywood
According to the Las Vegas Sun, Britney Spears has inked a deal with Planet Hollywood Las Vegas to perform at the hotel for a two-year run.
Construction will begin early next week for a new theater for the popstar at a reported cost of $20 million. The resort plans to demolish it's current theater which has a 7,400 seating capacity and replace it with a smaller venue which will accomodate up to 4,500. The renovation is expected to be complete in time for Spears' upcoming New Year's Eve debut show at the hotel.

Her musical career boasts nearly 100 million albums sold worldwide and countless awards and accolades, including the 2011 MTV Video Vanguard Award and Billboard's Best-Selling Female Artist of the Decade (1998-2008).
Spears first captivated audiences with her first single "Baby One More Time," an international hit that is currently 14x Platinum in the U.S. So far, Spears has earned a total of five No.1 debut albums and 24 Top 40 songs in her career. Spears was last seen as a judge on FOX's "The X-Factor" in the US and is currently featured on will.i.am's hit song "Scream & Shout." Britney is currently working on her 8th studio album.
