'Bob Rock' Comes to the Orleans Arena Today

Featuring an all-star line-up of musical acts from the '80s -- including Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Night Ranger, Skid Row, Warrant and Quiet Riot -- Bob Rocks invades Orleans Arena today, March 22. Bob Rocks is an '80s Metal Festival presented by New Breed and Frederic Entertainment, and 107.9 Bob FM.
Vince Neil became the lead singer of the "World's Most Notorious Rock Band," Motley Crue, in 1981 - the same year the band released its first album, "Too Fast For Love." As a solo artist, Neil released his first record, "Exposed," in 1992.In 1983, Night Ranger earned widespread acclaim with their multi-platinum album "Midnight Madness," which included smash hits "Sister Christian," "When You Close Your Eyes" and the rock anthem "(You Can Still) Rock in America."Released in 1989, Skid Row's self-titled debut album went five times platinum and featured the hit singles "18 and Life," "I Remember You" and "Youth Gone Wild." The band's second album, "Slave to the Grind," was released in 1991 and debuted at the top of the Billboard charts.Videos
