BRASS TRANSIT Returning to The Orleans Showroom, 8/20-21
Founded in 2008, Brass Transit features eight talented Canadian musicians recreating the smooth sounds of Chicago, one of the most successful rock bands.
Chicago burst onto the musical scene in the late 1960's and enjoyed enormous success throughout the 1970's and 1980's with the smash hits "25 or 6 to 4," "Colour My World" and "If You Leave Me Now," which topped the charts in 1976. The group is also well known for its hits "Saturday in the Park," "Hard to Say I'm Sorry," "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" "You're the Inspiration," "Old Days" and many more. Chicago has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
Brass Transit consists of Neil Donell on lead vocals; Tony Carlucci on trumpet; Bob McAlpine on guitar and backup vocals; Paul DeLong on drums; Don Breithaupt on keyboard and backup vocals; Doug Gibson on trombone; Phil Poppa on saxophone and backup vocals; and Jay Speziale on bass and backup vocals.
