Opera On Tap's annual Night of Spirits features Puccini's "Suor Angelica," sung by some of Kansas City's finest operatic interpreters. In the hallowed space of historic St. Mary's Episcopal Church, beneath the glowing stained-glass windows, you'll sip on a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage while you enjoy this operatic favorite. A cash bar will feature a seasonal signature cocktail and assorted beer/wine for those wishing to imbibe.
Sopranos Lauren Auge (Friday October 11th) and Alexis Merry (Sunday October 13th) lead this star-studded cast through director Sarah Scott's touching rendition of the classic tragedy. Maestro Gregory Campbell returns to the podium to conduct the ensemble, joined by Drew Doran Crane at the keys.
