The Lyric Opera of Kansas City presents THE DAUGHTER OF THE REGIMENT, which will have its opening night on February 19th, 2011 at 8:00 pm. Come watch this outrageous Donizetti comedy performed in English. Directed by Lyric Opera's beloved Dorothy Danner, physical high jinks are set against a wonderful score. Nili Reimer returns from her last performance here in The Pirates of Pensanze to sing the lead. Kansas City's very own Robert Gibby Brand, Deb Bluford and yes, even
Ron McGee are featured! This is a night not to be missed!
