The River City Community Players wishes you and yours a Happy New Year and announce auditions for The Wedding Singer - Jan 3-5: 7 p.m., Mon-Wed.

It's 1985 and rock-star wannabe Robbie Hart is New Jersey's favorite wedding singer. He's the life of the party, until his own fiancee leaves him at the altar. Shot through the heart, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own.

Directed by Eric Van Horn. Please prepare a an up-beat vocal selection of your choice. A CD/tape player will be available as well as the show accompanist. Acappella singing is discouraged.

Cold reading from the script may be conducted during the first audition. They will be used at the call backs as well as singing from the score.

Performances: Feb 25 & 26; Mar 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 8 p.m., with a Mar 6 2 p.m. matinee.
