The nationally broadcast comedy show Right Between the Ears kicks off its 27th season with a live performance at Lawrence's Liberty Hall on Saturday, October 15 at 8:00pm.

It's always "anything goes" for the RBTE writers, so October's show is likely to take off on everything from Republican candidate debates to TV's "Dancing with the Stars" to Kansas governor Sam Brownback. Also in the RBTE crosshairs -- coverage of the 2012 Olympic Mind Games, the new TV quiz show "Murder Cab" plus new episodes of "Disgruntled Postal Workers" and "The Antonio Banderas Show".

Also appearing on the show will be the Radio Kids - Maggie Hutchison and Camille O'Leary - veterans of the summer radio theatre camps conducted by Right Between the Ears. The Radio Kids will invade another episode of "Meet Mr. Science" and join the RBTE cast in other bits.

Cast members for the October 15 show include David Greusel, Andi Meyer, Kip Niven, Roberta Solomon and Rick Tamblyn. Live sound effects are performed by Mary Ellen Kriegh. Right Between the Ears is produced by Darrell Brogdon.

Tickets are $15.50 - $19.50 and are on sale now at the Liberty Hall box office, Ticketmaster and at the show's website, http://www.RightBetweentheEars.com.
