Astra Arts Festival to Welcome Mid-Continent Band on 7/4
What better way to celebrate Independence Day than in America's heartland with live, patriotic music and a breathtaking fireworks display? On Friday, July 4, 2014, Independence, Kan. and the Astra Arts Festival will present the Mid-Continent Band at the Riverside Park Band Shell for an Independence Day celebration.
The city of Independence is known for its fantastic Fourth of July fireworks show - no one celebrates Independence Day better than Independence! This Fourth of July, the Mid-Continent Band will be offering a free, patriotic concert, complete with fireworks and family fun, starting at 7:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, low chairs or lounge on the grass. Outside food and beverage is encouraged - a Fourth of July celebration just wouldn't be the same without a picnic.
Though the Mid-Continent Fourth of July concert is free, there's still time to secure the best seats for the biggest shows at the Astra Arts Festival. Purchase the Astra Pass for $129, valued at $177 for reserved seating at the following headlining events:
- Jim Brickman in Concert;
