All Hands on Deck: Join the Creative Crew of Heaven Under Siege

CREATIVE TEAM CALL — CHILDREN’S MUSICAL PRODUCTION

Go & Shepherd Productions / NextGen Creatives is seeking creative and production team members for our upcoming children’s musical, Heaven Under Siege, a faith-inspired stage production based on the children’s book Heaven’s Adventures: The Case of the Stolen Treasure.

When a spirited 6-year-old pastor's kid falls asleep frustrated over a lost video game, she is plunged into a 1711 pirate dreamscape where she must choose between claiming a legendary buried treasure or sacrificing it to save her captured best friend, Carlos. This is a profound, family-friendly message about faith, friendship, sacrifice, and discovering where true treasure lies.  (Matthew 6:19–21)

Our desire is to cast adult actors for all roles in this production.

Before we cast our brave adventurers and pirate crew, we are assembling the creative team that will help steer this production from rehearsal harbor to opening night.

We are currently seeking a Director, Stage Manager, and Choreographer to help bring this high-seas musical adventure to life.

Performance dates are September 25–26, 2026, at Third Street Theater in Phoenix, Arizona. Rehearsals are expected to begin no later than July 2026.
