Cabaret Performers Needed!

Do you have a “wild” dream? Well then, don’t throw away your shot to show the world! Audition for the chance to sing about it in our next cabaret “Beyond My Wildest Dreams”. A night of songs about dreaming and yearning for more. We are looking to cast 12-16 performers/acts of all identities, ethnicities, genders and backgrounds for our next show. BIPOC performers are strongly encouraged to submit! Seeking people who are fun to work with and are happy to help promote the show!

The show performs on January 23rd at 7:00 pm at The Off Center for the Dramatic Arts in Burlington, Vermont.

We also plan to have 1 rehearsal in the Burlington area for those who are interested in participating in the group number. To be considered, please submit ALL of the following materials and fill out the Google form to the best of your ability:

Headshot or recent photo (will be used for promotional purposes & social media)

A 60-90 second clip of you singing in the style of musical theatre.* (reels are accepted)

A resume (completely optional. But if you have one, we’d love to see it!) or a brief description of your performance experience.

TIP!: The easiest way to do this is to put all of these materials in a Google folder and make sure anyone with the link can access. Then submit that link in the form. If that doesn’t work you can email us your materials at just make sure to note that in the field. *the song you audition with will not necessarily be the song you will sing in the show! You may be given something else from our anticipated set list to learn. Submissions will be open until November 1st at 11:59 pm EST. Notification of casting decisions will be sent by December 1st at the latest.
