The Sound of Music - Monrovia Unified School District

Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song from a musical (stage) that shows your range. Be sure to bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided.

Please be prepared to dance. Example: A waltz for adults and a marching routine for kids.

Please bring a headshot (photo), resume and be prepared to list your conflicts on the audition form. Small stipends will be available for lead roles.



ALL Children: Sign in 3:30pm Auditions: 4:00pm - 6:00pm



Adults: Sign in 6:30pm Auditions: 7:00pm - 10:30pm



Please Note: The roles of Maria and Captain Von Trapp have been cast.



Rehearsals: MON. to FRI, 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm and all Saturdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Rehearsal starts June 8th and a more detailed schedule will be given at auditions.
