Sherlock the Musical - Sherlock Holmes (Lead) - Chamber Media / Sherlock the Musical

Details: We are shooting a filmed version of the new show, Sherlock the Musical in Salt Lake City, Utah. Currently, we are casting for the role of Sherlock.

The Part: Sherlock Holmes is the world's most famous detective. He is equal parts cunning, dramatic, and witty. He speaks with an early 1900s British accent.



Performer Details: Male; Black/African American; Age: 25-40; Ideal vocal range: baritone - A2 to A4 (in a pop style, i.e. not operatic).



Key Dates:

Submission Deadline: July 1, 2021 at 10:00 PM MT

Rehearsal Dates: August 2-14, 2021

Shooting Dates: August 16-19



Pay & Contract: Minimum of $500 weekly. Additionally, if cast, we will pay for travel to and from the production as well as accommodations in Salt Lake City, UT for rehearsal and the shoot. The contract is for a filmed version of the show and as such participating in the project will not violate any Equity rules (there will be no live performances - Union / Non-Union may apply).



Submission: To submit, please send in a two-part video audition (Vimeo & YouTube links preferred). In the first part, perform the script sides provided as a link below. For the second part, sing a contemporary/pop song of your choosing (16-32 bars). Please submit to stefan@chamber.media.
