NYC Rehearsal/ Deck Stage Manager: Sex n’ The City: The (Super Unauthorized) Musical Parody - Entertainment Events

Entertainment Events, Inc seeks a Stage Manager for their upcoming NY based rehearsal & road dates of Sex n’ The City: The (Super Unauthorized) Musical Parody.



Rehearsal duties include, but are not limited to:

• Attending & running rehearsal

• Monitor/Note blocking script

• Assist with track playback

• Assisting Director as needed

• Sending detailed rehearsal reports to the production manager and company manager



Show deck manager duties will include, but not limited to:

• Setting props, wardrobe, and wigs before show

• Work with local crew during load-in and load-out

• Assist with quick changes

• Assist with show integrity (includes vocal & choreography continuity)

• Sending detailed performance reports to the production manager and company manager if requested by PSM.

• Oversee upkeep of set, props, and wardrobe including minor repairs as necessary



Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be well organized, team player & strong communicator.

• Musical training an asset.

• Experience working with local crews under IATSE union regulations preferred

• Valid US Driver’s License Required for shared driving of crew vehicle

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.



This is a Non-union engagement. Travel will be primarily by bus/van, with potential fly dates, if applicable. The tour’s physical production travels with a crew in full-size SUV. Shared hotel room and daily per diem provided by the Presenter/Producer.
