Seeking Non-Union musical theater actors for a New York City workshop of Surette & Hall’s Moms: The Musical™. DOREEN/JOAN: (supporting role), age: 50’s-60’s. Mix/belter. Justine’s mother-in-law/also plays Justine’s mother. $250.00 stipend. RENATTA: (supporting role) part of a “mom’s group chat,” age 27- 40. Preferably African-American. Mezzo-soprano-belter. $175.00 stipend. JADE: (supporting role) part of a “mom’s group chat,” age 27-40. Preferably Asian or BIPOC. Alto-belter. June 26th & 27th - 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

July 10th & 11th - 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

July 17th & 18th - 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

All performers will be required to sign a media release allowing the creative team to use photos, videos, and the workshop recording for both professional and promotional purposes.. Moms: The Musical is the story of two first-time mothers who, from an unlikely friendship, discover exactly just how strong they are. Both find that striving for perfection leads to struggle, but ultimately - growth.
