Frozen Jr. Summer Camp Program & Production (Ages 7 - 13)
Position: Raue Center School For The Arts – Costume Designer
Hours: Varies based on availability

Raue Center School For The Arts (RCSA) is thrilled to be launching its 2025 Season of productions and is looking for a skilled, self- motivated costume designer to join our team for the RCSA Summer Camp Production of Frozen Jr. Potential costume designer should be a self-starter and an excellent collaborator with the creative team members.
The Costume Designer, with the assistance of a parent support committee, will oversee costumes, hair, and makeup for Frozen Jr. Job overview includes the following: Costume Designer Responsibilities:
• Costume Designer will work on the production creating their own schedule and work times. This is flexible.
• Oversee costumes, hair, and makeup with the assistance of a support committee for Frozen Jr..
• Collaborate closely with the director to create, brainstorm, and plot the overall look and feel of the show.
• Research the specialized looks of the characters and match the overall theme of the show.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Frozen Jr. based on the animated film to assist in creating a design based on the look/style of the original but should not be necessarily copied. We would like the designer to create their own feel and look of the show.
• Assist student cast members in pulling looks together from students’ personal wardrobe if needed.
• Supplement additional costumes by pulling from stock or purchasing when necessary, working with a budget.
• Attend production meetings, dress parades, tech and dress rehearsals, and fittings.
• Act as the liaison between the director and stage manager if there are costume ideas, specific look questions, costume measurement arrangements, costume fitting arrangements, etc.
• Oversee the parent support committee, parents who will assist as directed with the costume acquisition, alterations, and purchases.
• Oversee and plan out what sort of make-up and hair requirements there will be along with the assistance of a support committee. The potential candidate will also collaborate with the director on vision.
• All designers will need to participate in strike, immediately following the final performance (Sunday, July 27th) Important Frozen Jr. Summer Camp Program & Production dates:
• Auditions: June 3rd – June 6th (will be dependent on school release and staff availability)
• Camp Dates: June 9th – July 27th, 2025
• Camp Days: Monday - Thursday
• Camp Drop Off Times: 8:30 AM – 9 AM
• Camp Time: 9 AM - 2:15 PM
• Camp Pick-up Times: 2:15 – 2:30 PM
• Show Dates: July 18, 25 @ 8 PM | July 19, 26 @ 2 PM & 7 PM | July 20, 27 @ 2 PM Please email the following to: rcsaeducation@rauecenter.org
