World-class Elvis impersonators Mike Albert and Scot Bruce are set to make their triumphant return to the Florida Theatre this summer to commemorate the 58th anniversary of Elvis Presley ’s 1956 engagement at the Florida Theatre.

There will be no crying in the chapel when two of the world’s most acclaimed Elvis Presley impressionists come to the Florida Theatre at 8:00pm on Saturday, August 9, 2014.

From his sexy sneer to his gyrating guitar playing, Scot Bruce is one of the world’s finest “Young Elvis” impersonators, while Mike Albert presents a stunningly accurate and respectful portrayal of the latter-day “Vegas” Elvis. Backed by the Big E Band, the two performers will trace one of the 20th century’s most beloved entertainers from his rockabilly days to some of his final recordings at the Florida Theatre this August.

“Scot delivers the rockabilly Sun Music sessions that really started rock and roll, and the early movie years,” Albert said recently. In the second half of the show, “I cover Elvis’ gospel, where he won his three Grammys, and the Vegas years with the great ballads and orchestrated songs.”

Bruce has appeared in music videos with Faith Hill and Sheryl Crow, has a recurring role on the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” and starred in the title role in several productions of “Idols of the King.” He also has appeared in “The True Hollywood Story: Elvis in Hollywood” on E! Entertainment Network, playing Elvis in the re-created scenes. He preforms at California’s Disneyland regularly and appears in the touring production of Legends of Rock & Roll – Buddy, Roy & Elvis.

Acclaimed as “The World’s Finest Elvis Impressionist,” Albert has numerous endorsements by original Elvis Presley musicians and back-up singers. He has won several world “Elvis” contests, appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and has been featured in six music videos on Maury Povich’s “A Current Affair.”
