Jay Fogg of The Shepherd Agency has produced a labor of love for ABET - a beautifully bound, 120-page book documenting ABET's 25-year history. Complete with every cast list, numerous photographs, lists of all directors, playwrights, volunteers, and much more, this book is a must-have for the diehard ABET aficionado.

The book documents the construction by ABET volunteers of the stage and risers, and relocation of the tongue-and-groove paneling which gives the theater a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all to enjoy.

When the idea was brought up at a Shepherd brainstorming meeting of doing a history of ABET's first 25 years, Jay had not realized that it would eventually involve digging through a ton of dusty boxes and files in Florida heat and then months sifting through and organizing 25 years' worth of programs, reviews and photographs to somehow end up with an incredible 120-page book.

ABET owes a huge thank-you and a large debt of gratitude to Jay and The Shepherd Agency for the incredible hours of work (a year's worth) in editing, design and production.

They have generously donated a copy to auction off to the highest bidder as a fundraiser. To place a bid, come to ABET's 26th season opener Floyd Collins, running Sept. 8 through 24 and fill out a form, or email celiaabet@gmail.com with your bid.

When Floyd Collins closes, ABET will announce the winner.
