Opening night on Wednesday 28th in Rome, at the Teatro Sistina, for the new Italian production of CATS.
Crowds of VIPs ,Tv and movie stars, personalities in the economic and politics life (among them the Italian Home Secretary) and all main press and tv journalists bestowed thunderous applauses to the show.
Among the audience, David Robinson and Micheal George from Really Useful Group were enthralled by the new costumes by Enrico Coveri, new coreographies by Daniel Ezralow and new direction by Ezralow and Saverio Marconi.
Corriere della Sera, the most influent Italian newspaper, pinpointed Compagnia della Rancia's CATS as "the musical of the year".
