CATS' Italian edition, the new enthralling show by Compagnia della Rancia, announced as the leading event in 2009/2010 season, wins the challenge and asserts itself as the most seen show in Italy (data from Theatre Exchange/Giornale dello Spettacolo AGIS - 12nd March 2010).

CATS returns to Rome by popular demand for a 2 nd engagement at Teatro Sistina from 14th through 25th April 2010, after four weeks of sold-out in Rome last Autumn and enchanting over 200.000 spectators in 22 cities.

The show has been translated into Italian for the first time, as it has already happened for over 10 other languages. Direction is by Saverio Marconi - point of reference of Italian musical - while associated direction and choreographies are by Daniel Ezralow (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark next fall on Broadway), which has brought a new vision to this revised Italian version of CATS.CATS Italian soundtrack CD will be available, this time, at Teatro Sistina: recorded live during previews, it holds a special track selection which includes "L'ultima battaglia di Gattigre" (Growltiger's last stand) and "La ballata di Billy M'Caw" (The Ballad of Billy M'Caw).
