The Moscow Ballet delighted audiences in Dublin, Drogheda, Cork & Limerick last October with their production of The Nutcracker. This year they will perform Tchaikovskys first ballet Swan Lake, an all time favourite with ballet lovers, it tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Princess Odette.
While hunting Prince Siegfried sees a magnificent swan, as he takes aim the swan turns into a beautiful woman, this is Princess Odette, the victim of an evil sorcerers spell, she spends her daylight hours as a swan, swimming in a lake of tears, by night she becomes a woman again.
The spell will be broken only if a virgin prince swears eternal love to her.
Swan Lake is their story and only they can adequately tell the whole story to you, so book your tickets now and prepare to be enthralled.
