The Kilfenora Céilí Band’s story is the story of Irish music itself. Founded in 1909, the band is still on the road 103 years later. It features fiddles, flutes, banjo and squeezeboxes and what Folk Roots magazine calls ‘one of the tightest rhythm sections in the world’.
The Kilfenora has consolidated its position as one of the world’s greatest and longest running Céilí bands and this Spring will see the release of the much anticipated seventh album release.
For this performance they will be joined by special guests Don Stiffe (runner up in Ireland’s Got Talent) and Michael Donnellan (lead dancer in
Riverdance).
