Following a creative residency and concert in CCI Paris for the French national festival of music (Fte de la Musique), Dakar-based Doctor L (aka Liam Farrell) presents this new collaboration of international artists to Irish audiences. Come and experience the results of this joyful melting-pot, discover these energising artists and celebrate the music of rap and hip-hop, electrosoul, RnB, afro-futurism and beatbox. As France and Ireland forge ever-deeper ties by way of a Joint Plan of Action, and the Irish government gives priority to developing strong partnerships with francophone West African countries, opening its first Embassy in the region in Dakar at the end of the year, this ambitious initiative gathers artists from France, Senegal and Ireland for performances at Fte de la Musique in Paris, Cork Midsummer Festival and the inauguration of the Embassy of Ireland in Dakar. Vibrant relations will develop not just between governments but also between people with such innovative cultural projects.
