Moyet began her musical journey in punk bands before `Only You` became a worldwide hit for her and Vince Clarke - the duo otherwise known as Yazoo, which went on to reinvent British dance music, merging cool synthesised soundscapes with soul.
Alison`s multi-million selling 1984 album debut, `Alf`, spawned three UK Top 10 hits and won her a Brit for Best Female Artist. Her `Raindancing` follow-up earned her a third Brit, 1991`s acclaimed ‘Hoodoo’ garnered her a Grammy nomination and her 1995 `Singles` album entered the UK chart at Number 1.
In 2002 Alison released `Hometime,`her first studio album in eight years, securing her place in the Top 5 Best Selling female UK artists and earning her a nomination for Best Female Vocal at the 2003 BRIT Awards.
Alison will be performing songs from her new `the minutes` album and showcase the significant electronic material from her back catalogue
