The Asylum with Keith Barry Returns at Wexford Opera House 5/22

By: May. 09, 2011

Keith Barry returns to Wexford Opera House Sunday, May 22 at 8pm for his final journey into The Asylum. EXTENDED BY POPULAR DEMAND with 75 SOLD OUT SHOW'S TO DATE, Keith decided to extend the run of The Asylum before opening a brand new show later this summer.

Anyone who has seen this remarkable show knows that each performance of The Asylum is a new experience and is as much of a comedy as it is a ‘magic' show. The show is dependent on audience participation, but only those who really want to be hypnotised and be part of the show are asked up on stage, while most of the audience are free to sit back and laugh - and laugh they will!

Voted "Mentalist of the Year 2009" by the International Magicians Society, Keith Barry is now a worldwide success. Keith's own TV shows can now be seen in 82 countries worldwide including MTV and CBS in the USA, ITV in the UK and RTE at home. The Waterford native started performing magic at the age of fourteen after purchasing a book entitled 'Magic for the complete Klutz' while on a school tour to Edinburgh. The first effect he learned from the book was the vanishing handkerchief and from that point onwards Keith knew what his destiny would be.

Tickets to enter The Asylum for a side-splitting night out are €30 and are available online at www.wexfordoperahouse.ie or by calling the box-office at 053 912 2144. No booking fee applies. STRICTLY OVER 16's ONLY. Skyview café opens at 7pm.
